Mission Statement

The purpose of the Media Center is to support the curriculum of the school system of which it is a part.  As a service agency and a resource center for the administrators, teachers, students, and the community, the Media Center should be an integral part of the classroom program,should foster the love of reading and lifelong learning for the individual students, and should encourage the use and production of audiovisual materials.

Checking Out Books:

Students may check out two books for a 10 school day period.  They must have their school ID card in order to check out books.  There is a fine of .05 per day for overdue books.

Our media center provides a well-developed collection of fiction and non-fiction books, professional as well as popular magazines, the Augusta Chronicle, CD databases, and the CCBOE Homepage to our students and staff.  We provide a great place to read, do research, work on computers, or study.
